Students in the mist

Towards the end of the course, we spent a day in a small forest reserve just an hour's drive away from Bushwise. It was probably a much needed break from all the studying during this period and even though the weather wasn't great, it was a beautiful day. The hike to the top of the mountain went through a proper jungle like forest with muddy steep slopes.Emerging from the dense vegetation we were rather surprised to see mixed herds of cows and zebras! But from the looks on their faces, they probably were a bit surprised to see us as well.In a series of water falls some of the guys discovered a natural water slide and then behaving like children, of course, came natural to most of us, even if it took a bit of persuasion for some of us to go down the slide. Another much enjoyed activity this day was catching insects, on photo... and not. This locust looks almost unreal, like a plastic toy or an alien creature. /A

Dreaming of a white Christmas

It has been about a month since our last update and a lot has happened since then. Unfortunately Jonny's new laptop crashed a while ago and also our internet access hasn't been all too regular lately... But don't dispair, everything will eventually be told!

Right now we are happy about being home in Stockholm for a white Christmas! Stockholm is an incredibly beautiful city when covered in snow.
The shock of coming from +34 degrees to -6 took the breath out of both of us but it is great for the Christmas spirit, as is a visit to the Old town.
